Web25 de abr. de 2024 · What is the standard way to measure a current of about 10,000 A? DC clamp meters seem to have only scales up to 2,000 A. Edit. Some background of this … Web3 de jan. de 2024 · That being out of the way, U = I ⋅ R, Therefore, if you use a 10 kΩ resistor, U = 0.0005 A ⋅ 10000 Ω = 5 V. This is the voltage you will measure at 0.5 mA. In other words, a 10 kΩ resistor will give you 10 V per mA. Other factors like for instance impedances at the supply or load side, can throw this number off by a significant amount ...
WebIntroduction. It can be challenging to sense currents exceeding 50 A because the task often involves thermal management, must take place in a limited PCB area, and in some cases, requires a voltage isolation device. Two widely used methods for sensing high currents are a sense-resistor/op-amp approach, and Hall-based current sensing. WebEnergy transmission by high voltage direct current - HVDC - is steadily increasing in the world, both at the highest power levels, but also at medium power, for example in connections of remote wind-

Web22 de jan. de 2024 · My solution is to ‘hack’ an INA219 current sensor by removing (desoldering) the 0.1 Ohm resistor and ‘replacing’ it with a high-current shunt. Don’t worry, it’s not very difficult. The INA219 current sensor is a ‘shunt’ itself, which works by measuring the (minute) voltage drop across the 0.1 Ohm resistor built onto the board.
